Annadel Half Marathon

DESCRIPTION: A challenging hilly trail Half Marathon with proceeds going to support the maintenance of the Annadel State Park trail system. The technical course is designed for the experienced runner looking for a challenge.

PACKET PICKUP : will be available: Thursday, April 3rd 10am-6pm & Friday, April 4th 10am-6pm. You may have someone other than yourself pickup your bib. No shirt size exchanges will be allowed during packet pickup. However you may make exchanges after the race, based on size availability. Packet pick will be available on race morning starting at 7am, but is not recommended.

In STORE REGISTRATION: will be available during packet pickup hours, registration fee will be $90.00, shirt size not guaranteed. Check, cash, and credit cards accepted.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: is available starting at 7am, cost is $90.00

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Race begins at 8am and winds through Spring Lake Park before the climb into Annadel State Park. Chip timing will be used and age group divisions are in 5 year increments. Post-race meal served complimentary to all participants. Souvenir tech shirts and commemorative awards to all finishers.

 

PARKING: Spring Lake Park (off of Violetti Ave) in the Swimming Lagoon Are. Parking fee is $6.

Route:

Runners will start on the grassy field north of the swimming Lagoon

- (head east towards Annadel, up Rough Go, down Cobblestone, up Orchard, up Rough Go, down Live Oak, up North Burma, down Richardson, up South Burma, down Marsh, down Canyon, finish at swimming lagoon)

    1. [0.93 mi] – LEFT up Rough Go
    2. [1.85 mi] – LEFT down Cobblestone
    3. [2.77 mi] – RIGHT up Orchard Trail
    4. [3.84 mi] – LEFT up Rough Go
    5. [4.24 mi] – LEFT down Live Oak
    6. [5.05 mi] – RIGHT up North Burma
    7. [5.97 mi] – RIGHT down Richardson
    8. [6.19 mi]- LEFT up South Burma

7.6 miles is Top of BURMA and is the start of the downhill.

  1. [8.2 mi]- RIGHT down Marsh
  2. [10.24 mi]- LEFT down Canyon
  3. [11.72 mi] – head back to swimming lagoon via fireroad back the way you started
  4. [13.1 mi] – FINISH at swimming lagoon (same location as start)
